Collaboration to develop activities that will translate to Ajman Vision 2021
Ajman, UAE: The Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Group 32, a private institution specialized in planning and implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, to develop and promote community and humanitarian activities in the emirate.
Under the agreement, both parties will engage in activities that will strengthen national identity through volunteer and community work.
HE Faisal Al Nuaimi, General Manager of ATDD and Mr Rashid Hajji Nasser, CEO and founder of Group 32, signed the MOU with both parties agreeing on important key points aimed at strengthening the level of partnership and enhancing mutual benefits.
“By signing this MOU, it will strengthen relationships, collaboration and coordination between ATDD and institutions specialized in the field of community work for achieving a mutual goal which is to promote our national identity and enhance volunteer work. The department continues to integrate cooperation efforts and partnership with organisations operating in Ajman to ensure utmost benefit and translate to Ajman Vision 2021, thus, we are confident that more CSR activities will be undertaken this year and next,” said Mr Al Nuaimi.
Moreover, the MOU aims at the implementation of strategic plans to achieve major objectives, such as: volunteer and community work as well as the role of youth in supporting activities and events that will enhance the value of loyalty to homeland and support of national identity, in addition to promoting Ajman tourism various activities, alongside utilizing Group 32 Social Media channels to contribute in promoting all activities and events.
About Ajman Tourism Development Department:
Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) was established by His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashed Al-Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman.
ATDD aims to highlight the importance of tourist attractions available in the Emirate of Ajman, and lay down strategic plans for tourism promotion, locally, regionally and internationally, via holding/participating in conferences, exhibitions, and international promotion campaigns. ATDD also works on organizing and developing the tourism industry in the Emirate of Ajman, improving the potentials and services of tourism facilities with the aim of increasing national income.
ATDD is also responsible for preparing legislations, rules and regulations needed to organize and develop the tourism sector in the Emirate in cooperation with competent authorities. It also supervises tourist attractions in the Emirate, and makes sure that the facilities provided go in line with world standards with aim of luring tourists from around the world.
Classification of hotel establishments and facilities and supervising their tourist-oriented services, licensing and classification of tourism and travel agencies and supervising their performance also come high on the agenda of ATDD.
