Dubai, UAE – June 2026 – Al-Futtaim BYD UAE has announced the arrival of the BYD Ti 7 Plug-in Hybrid SUV, reflecting growing demand for capable, long-range lifestyle electric mobility in the region. The Ti 7 expands Al-Futtaim BYD UAE’s growing lineup, offering customers a versatile PHEV option across a wide range of models to choose from. The BYD Ti 7 is a bold, boxy lifestyle PHEV SUV engineered for both dynamic city driving and tough terrain capability, delivering 480 hp, 630 Nm of torque, and a combined range of 870 km. With a striking “Interstellar Ark” exterior and a premium, technology-packed interior, the Ti 7 offers UAE drivers a versatile and capable option across Al-Futtaim BYD UAE’s growing lineup. At the heart of the AWD PHEV SUV lies BYD’s advanced DM-p (Dual Mode-performance) intelligent dual-motor electric all-wheel-drive platform designed for rapid acceleration and off-road capability, an innovative system that smoothly integrates a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine with two powerful electric motors. Delivering exhilarating driving experience together, further features like regenerative braking and intelligent power management further enhance the Ti 7’s efficiency credentials.  The Ti 7 also delivers 480 horsepower (360 kW), 630 Nm of torque, and acceleration from 0-100 km/h in around 5.3 seconds, as it is also equipped with a DiSus-C Intelligent Damping System featuring long-travel double wishbone independent front and five-link rear suspension. This brings a balanced blend of driving agility and comfort, for paved roads and a variety of tricky terrains. With a combined range of 870 km (WLTC) and a pure EV range of 80 km (WLTC), coupled with Mud, Sand, Snow, and Mountain terrain modes, the Ti 7 competently tackles a diverse range of conditions, including advanced Tank Turn, Track, and Crawl modes. The BYD Ti 7 features a bold “Interstellar Ark” exterior with a distinctive boxy aesthetic, H-shaped Ti Energy Headlights, and Ti-Energy Taillights, paired with a refined and premium interior. The well-equipped cabin features a 15.6-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch LCD instrumentation cluster, and a 26-inch Head-Up Display (HUD) on the Premium trim. A 14-speaker Dirac sound system, ventilated front and rear seats — with massage and memory functions on higher trims — a 4.5L car refrigerator, and a PM2.5 Air Purification System round out a thoughtfully designed interior. The Ti 7 is engineered and designed to achieve dual five-star safety ratings, featuring nine airbags including a far front airbag. The spacious cabin provides over 3.3 cubic meters of passenger volume and 1,880L of cargo space with the rear seats folded. The 360° panoramic camera and DiPilot 5 ADAS suite deliver intelligent driving assistance including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping Control (LKC), and Tyre Deflation Stability Control (TDSC).
