Amman, August 2023. Ariston, market leader in water heating technology in many Middle East markets has diversified into Air Conditioners with the launch of the Alys R32 in Jordan. A revolutionary solution for efficient and eco-friendly cooling and heating, the new Alys R32 is equipped with advanced features including refrigerant leakage check, and Golden Fin treatment. The leading name in home comfort technology continues to ensure quality combined with sustainability with this diversification.
Alberto Torner Head of Ariston Group in the Middle East, Turkey and Caucasus said “We are proud to introduce the Alys R32 Air Conditioner, a testament to our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer comfort. With its advanced inverter systems, and smart connectivity options, the Alys R32 redefines the way we experience indoor climate control, setting a new standard in home environments. This innovative technology allows homeowners to enjoy a comfortable indoor environment while contributing to a greener future.”
The Alys R32 Air Conditioner introduces a breakthrough in energy efficiency with an energy class rating of up to A+++. It ensures optimal cooling and heating performance while minimising environmental impact. Its unique GOLDEN FIN treatment protects against atmospheric agents. This protective coating ensures extended durability and enhanced resistance against environmental factors, ensuring the longevity of the air conditioner. The Alys R32 boasts advanced 2D Inverter technology, allowing for precise modulation of fan speed and compressor frequency. This results in improved energy efficiency, reduced consumption, and effective noise control. In addition, the bigger capacities from ALYS R32 are equipped with the 3D Inverter technology that provides an additional indoor unit inverter, ensuring a quieter indoor environment. With features like MEMORY and FOLLOW ME functions, the Alys R32 offers personalised comfort and control. The MEMORY function allows users to save preferred settings, while the FOLLOW ME function enables real-time temperature control, providing a comfortable environment no matter where you are in your home. The Alys R32 Air Conditioner comes with a built-in refrigerant leakage check, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
“We are excited to launch this air conditioner in Jordan. We believe the market conditions are well suited for a sophisticated product like Alys R32. A successful introduction will open new market segments for Ariston Middle East, expand our portfolio and enlarge our footprint in this dynamic market,” said Baha Khwaira the Sales Area Manager Gulf & Levant, Ariston Middle East.
The Cool Up programme**, part of the International Climate Initiative (IKI), The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) in a report on the air conditioning market in Jordan, says, “ AC market drivers include increasing affordability (gross domestic product growth), rising population, new construction activities, climate change, increasing electricity prices, the introduction of new technical regulations, and the availability of new technologies. The demand for different AC technologies is driven by installations in new buildings, new installations in existing buildings (to increase the share of air conditioned rooms), and the replacement of defective AC systems. In the new construction sector, around 60% of new apartments and 80% of new single-family buildings, between 70% and 75% of new offices and supermarkets, and 90% and 95% of new healthcare and new hotel buildings install AC systems. In existing residential buildings, there is substantial growth potential for the cooling market, as about 80% of the residential floor area and about 50% of the non-residential floor area is not yet air conditioned. While the AC market in Jordan already grew by 1.5% between 2017 and 2020, the AC market is expected to experience a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of about 6% between 2021 and 2027. Currently installed equipment and new units installed have a lower efficiency than the best available technology, so there is a large potential for energy savings.” **
“From building upon Ariston Middle East’s well-established presence, particularly in the realm of water heating over the course of several decades, this new venture stands as a testament to our commitment to expanding horizons and forging deeper connections with our cherished clientele.” Torner added.
