Samsung brings fashion and technology together through runway collaborations with Cardinal Milano and Genes Lecoanet Hemant
Interactive AI-powered experiences and a creative workshop showcase how Galaxy and display technologies can inspire the region’s fashion community
Dubai, UAE, October 2026: Samsung Gulf Electronics brought fashion, technology and creativity together at Fashion Factor 2026, attracting approximately 6,750 visitors. From AI-powered fashion portraits and hands-on creative workshops to the Galaxy Z Fold8 appearing on the runway, Samsung demonstrated how its latest innovations can inspire new forms of creative expression and connect with the region’s fashion community.
One of the highlights was Samsung’s interactive Wall of Frame experience, which invited visitors to step into the world of high fashion through AI. Located within the dedicated Samsung Lounge, the installation featured three Samsung The Frame displays and allowed guests to transform their selfies into high-fashion, runway-inspired portraits using Gemini AI powered by Galaxy Z Fold8, their creations subsequently showcased on the screens. The experience brought together personal creativity, artificial intelligence and display technology, giving visitors the opportunity to become part of the fashion experience themselves.
Samsung also brought its technology directly onto the runway, collaborating with luxury handbag and accessories brand Cardinal Milano and women’s couture label Genes Lecoanet Hemant. Models carried the Galaxy Z Fold8 alongside the designers’ latest collections, demonstrating how the device’s distinctive foldable design can complement contemporary fashion and personal style.
Beyond the catwalk, Samsung explored how technology can support the next generation of fashion creatives through a dedicated Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra workshop. Bringing together designers, entrepreneurs and influencers, the 30-minute session demonstrated how the tablet can support the creative process, from developing initial concepts and digital sketches to refining and presenting ideas. The hands-on experience highlighted how digital tools can give creative professionals greater flexibility to develop and bring their ideas to life.
The experience also highlighted Adobe Photoshop for Android, which will launch exclusively through Samsung’s Galaxy Store for at least six months, initially on the Galaxy Tab S12 series before becoming available on other devices at a later stage. Designed with tablet users in mind, the experience features a simplified interface with clearly labelled tools for selecting, adjusting, applying effects and retouching images, alongside a voice-supported AI Assistant that enables users to make creative edits using spoken instructions. Additional AI-powered capabilities include Generate Background, Generative Effects, Image-to-Video and Harmonization, while the included S Pen offers precise creative control and quick access to frequently used tools through its dedicated button.
To make these creative capabilities even more accessible, Photoshop will be featured in Galaxy Picks, with users offered a complimentary four-month subscription.
Shafi Alam, Senior Director and Head of Direct-to-Consumer & Corporate Marketing Division, Samsung Gulf Electronics, said: “Fashion has always been about creativity and finding new ways to express yourself, and technology is opening up even more possibilities. At Fashion Factor, we wanted to show how Samsung’s innovations can become part of that creative journey, whether it’s bringing the Galaxy Z Fold8 onto the runway, helping designers develop their ideas or showcasing how our visual display technologies, from the immersive Micro RGB to The Frame, can transform creative spaces and bring fashion, art and technology together. It’s exciting to see how technology can bring people closer to the creative process and inspire new ideas.”
Alongside the Wall of Frame, the Samsung Lounge offered visitors the opportunity to explore a wider range of the company’s latest innovations, including its 115-inch Micro RGB television, The Moving Style portable display and Music Studio 5 and 7 speakers. Together, the experiences highlighted how Samsung’s display, entertainment and connected technologies can complement modern lifestyles and creative spaces.
Building on its participation in June, Samsung returned to Fashion Factor with a more integrated approach, placing technology at the heart of the event’s runway presentations and creative experiences. Through its collaborations with designers, interactive installations and hands-on workshop, Samsung reinforced its commitment to supporting creativity and exploring new ways for technology to connect with the region’s fashion community.
