Dubai/Sydney: CAPA – Centre for Aviation has announced an agreement with Reed Exhibitions to be the event partner for next year’s Global Airport Leaders’ Forum (GALF), taking place in Dubai during 16-17 May 2017. The event will occur on the sidelines of the 17th Dubai Airport Show. It will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group.

CAPA will bring together airport and aviation leaders from the around the world to address strategic and geopolitical challenges and opportunities facing airport operators, regulators and airport industry suppliers, providing a platform to engage, exchange knowledge, share best practices, forge partnerships and discuss issues of common interest.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed said GALF brings international aviation experts and leaders to Dubai offering an invaluable opportunity to share ideas and contribute to the sustainable growth of the global aviation industry.

“The Middle East remains amongst the fastest growing aviation markets in the world and regional authorities are actively investing in infrastructure development, airspace modernisation and capacity movements to meet their growth targets. In Dubai, the aviation industry is growing rapidly and airport expansion projects are underway to accommodate anticipated air traffic growth. We are also actively embracing the latest technological innovations, opening tremendous opportunities for global industry players,” said Sheikh Ahmed.
