Dubai: For those looking to rekindle their love for literature and the reading experience, look no further as Festival Plaza, part of Al-Futtaim Malls is excited to announce the fourth installment of its free-to-attend book club on Saturday 26th June at KARE. Held on the last Saturday of each month from 10:30am, the Festival Plaza, Jebel Ali book club in partnership with Booktopia offers a selection of must-read books, appearances from acclaimed authors and guest speakers as well as a host of literary events. Plus, those who attend can look forward to a range of exclusive offers at the mall but be quick as seats are limited.
Leading the book club this month is TV Presenter, Author, and Editor – Sarah Hedley Hymers and Divyata Rajaram, Author of ‘If You Only Knew Me’ – a psychological thriller that was featured at the 11th Emirates Airlines Festival of Literature 2019 in Dubai. During the morning, club members will be able to indulge in a selection of refreshments as they share their thoughts with fellow passionate readers on ‘The Thursday Murder Club’ by Richard Osman. Plus, those joining the club for the first time will receive a special goody bag filled with a range of treats from KARE and Booktopia where they will be able to enjoy 20% off at the popular bookstore. And for those who have little ones, why not sign them up to their very own book club at Booktopia, which is sure to keep them entertained.
