Dubai UAE: CoreSports, a Dubai-based international sport events and broadcast company, has announced an exciting partnership with CrossFit, LLC to promote the first-of-its-kind fight between CrossFit legends Josh Bridges and Jacob Heppner, who have competed a combined 11 times in the CrossFit Games, the finals of the global competition to be named “Fittest Man on Earth.”
Bridges and Heppner will take to the ring in September 2021 on the undercard of the bout between Strongmen Hafthor “The Mountain” Bjornsson and Eddie “The Beast” Hall, a fight that is sending shockwaves through both the boxing and Strongman world, as it’s billed as the heaviest boxing match in history.
Don Idrees, CEO of CoreSports, said: “This pioneering partnership between our two brands establishes a new dawn for the sports industry, further crossing over traditionally very separate sports to create elevated levels of sporting entertainment.”
“The CrossFit Games is the world’s ultimate test of fitness, but this fight will test two of our best athletes in ways we have never imagined,” said Dave Castro, CrossFit’s GM of Sport. “This fight will give fans a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see two of the world’s fittest individuals go toe-to-toe in the ring for CrossFit bragging rights.”
