Move in line with ‘UAE Innovation Month’ celebration

Dubai, UAE: Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) has launched its multiple innovation initiatives as part of its participation in the ‘UAE Innovation Month’ and the ‘UAE Innovates 2022,’ one of the world’s largest innovation initiatives. A series of activities has been lined up for the whole month of February to stimulate and utilize innovation for the development of efficient and reliable services, in line with the government’s directives.

DGW showcased its ‘Garage Lab’ and its objectives, as well as organized a workshop for the youth titled ‘Shaping the Future.’ The workshop aimed at highlighting the future trends in innovation, technology and sustainability along with innovative solutions vital to providing customers with unique services. In addition, DGW participated in several workshops organized by the Federal Youth Authority to join the discussions on how to promote innovation among young people.

H.E. Fahad Ahmed Al-Raeesi, CEO of DGW, reaffirmed the significant role of the ‘UAE Innovation Month’ in fostering creativity, innovation and invention in the UAE. Al-Raeesi also emphasized the importance of innovation in the UAE’s economic prosperity and the need to transform the concept on a larger scale to enhance government workflow and boost economic development.

Al Raisi said: “DGW will leverage innovation to enhance our operational efficiency and elevate the quality of our services. Our participation in the ‘UAE Innovation Month’ is in keeping with our efforts to adopt and integrate innovation into all aspects of our work and build a positive environment to bolster leadership and productivity.
