Leading real estate developer maintains its strategy of addressing the high demand for affordable leasing housing in Dubai
Dubai Properties (DP), a leading Dubai-based real estate master developer and asset manager, announced 18 new buildings available for lease in one of its most vibrant communities in DUBAILAND – Remraam. The construction progress of the 18 new buildings, which contain 1441 units, has reached 90% and is moving forward in line with the pre-determined timelines. 60 buildings have now been handed over in the Remraam development, and all new buildings, as well as the development’s second community centre, are set for full completion and hand-over by the fourth quarter of 2017.
DP’s strategy of addressing the high demand for affordable housing in Dubai falls in line with the proposed law by Dubai Municipality for mandatory 15-20% affordable housing in future residential developments. The use of innovative construction techniques to contain construction costs, as well as offering the choice of flexible payment plans for purchasers on buildings for rent, means that the Emirate’s low to middle income earners are able to contribute to the continued competitiveness and growth of the city.
