The group implemented and adhered to the rigorous precautionary measures set by the Saudi Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization across their offices and hotels located in Makkah, Madinah, and Jeddah.
In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, Elaf Group introduced and rolled out the Provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines at The Hotel Galleria-Jeddah, Elaf Jeddah, Elaf Kinda-Makkah, and Elaf Taiba-Medina. The hotels sanitized the property its facilities, surfaces, back of house areas and admin offices regularly with recommended cleaning agents to ensure the curation of a safe environment and remain committed to enhance and elevate its standard of hygiene today and in the future.
Other precautionary measures include regular temperature screening during the day, PPE kit upon arrival, social distancing signs and stickers, hand sanitizers at facilities and guest touchpoints, installation of reception plexiglass partition for Jeddah hotels and face mask requirement in the hotel indoor, public, and outdoor areas with some exceptions based on local law. From a digital standpoint, the hotels rolled out QR codes for menus in addition to E-payment and signs reminding guests, customers and associates of hygiene etiquette and maintaining social distancing.
Despite the current challenges, Elaf Group and its subsidiaries reimagined the guest journey, modified signature experiences to encourage domestic and international leisure travelers to book confidently with ample flexibility as they adapt to the new reality without hindering the distinctive quality of each hotel.
