São José dos Campos, Brazil, June 25, 2026 —Embraer (NYSE: ERJ/ B3: EMBRJ3) signed today a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 S.A. (WZL‑2), the leading Polish aerospace maintenance company and a key entity within the Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ).
Under the agreement, Embraer and WZL‑2 will jointly prepare a comprehensive framework for future collaboration, encompassing a broad range of capabilities in services and support, aircraft completion and conversion, including external painting and system integration.
The signing ceremony took place at Embraer facilities with participation of Mr. Piotr Zawieja, Member of the Management Board of PGZ, Mr. Marcio Monteiro, Chief Marketing Officer of Embraer Defense & Security, and Mr. Douglas Lobo, Vice-President Customer Support & Aftermarket Sales, Embraer Services & Support. This strategic document marks a significant milestone in the development of industrial cooperation between Embraer and its Polish partner, related to the KC‑390 Millennium and its associated services and support.
The Agreement signed today marks an important step in building long term cooperation between WZL-2 and Embraer. “Our goal is to develop industrial and maintenance capabilities in Poland, to support the operations of the KC-390 Millennium, while strengthening the country’s aerospace and defense capabilities. The KC-390 Millennium, built and designed in the 21st century, is the most modern military transport aircraft in its class. It can carry more payload (26 tons) compared to other medium-sized military transport aircraft, flying faster (470 knots) and farther. It can perform a wide range of missions, including cargo and troop transport, equipment and personnel airdrops, medical evacuation, search and rescue (SAR), firefighting, and humanitarian missions, operating from temporary or unpaved runways. The aircraft, when configured with quick-installation air-to-air refueling equipment (AAR), can operate both as a tanker and as a receiver.
In addition to the Brazilian Air Force, this next-generation multi-mission aircraft has been selected by the air forces of Portugal, Hungary, the Republic of Korea, the Netherlands, Austria, the Czech Republic, Uzbekistan, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, Slovakia, and Lithuania. The KC-390 Millennium delivers unmatched capability, reliability, versatility, and performance to meet the tactical and strategic needs of air forces worldwide with seamless interoperability.
