Dubai: Emirates Islamic, one of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the UAE, announced its ‘Emarati Credit Card’ will feature the iconic UAE Nation Brand ‘Seven Lines’ logo, following a collaboration agreement with the UAE Nation Brand Office.

Launched to celebrate the UAE’s 49th National Day, the newly-branded ‘Emarati Credit Card’ will offer an exclusive free-for-life offer to new UAE national customers, along with a welcome bonus of 49,000 EI SmartMiles worth AED 490 for a limited period until December 31, 2020.

The newly branded ‘Emarati card’ reflects Emirates Islamic’s growing status as the preferred bank for UAE nationals. The newly branded ‘Emarati card’ reflects Emirates Islamic’s commitment to embodying the UAE’s values and offering its Emirati customers a unique experience that strengthens their national identity and pride.

The UAE Nation Brand’s ‘Seven Lines’ logo was launched earlier this year to share the country’s story with the world. Designed by 49 Emirati artists, the logo was selected as part of a massive international public voting campaign that garnered over 10.6 million votes.

The seven lines of the new logo represent the leaders of the seven emirates who agreed to unite under one flag. Seven lines, shaping the map of the Emirates using the national colours, represent the unity of the future-focused leaders. The logo is administered under the stewardship of the UAE Nation Brand Office.

Alia Al Hammadi, Assistant Director General at the Public Diplomacy Office in the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, said: “Our collaboration with Emirates Islamicis part of the partnerships we have established with different public and private entities and humanitarian organisations since the launch of the UAE Nation Brand logo.”

She added, “Through various partnerships, we aim to achieve the UAE Nation Brand’s strategic goals to strengthen the country’s presence across different sectors and share the UAE’s success story in sustainable economic development, innovation and human empowerment. The UAE Nation Brand’s slogan “the impossible is possible” applies to individuals, entities and economic institutions, reflecting the capabilities that lie in every person. This collective community contributes to the country’s development and cements its status as a land of opportunities for people from all over the world; a land where challenges are transformed into opportunities.”
