Abu Dhabi, UAE: Out of a crowded pool of luxurious hotels, Emirates Palace has been named winner in Best Venue for Big Fat Weddings at the Experiential Venue Awards, which took place on July 6 at JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity.
Commenting on taking home this esteemed honour, General Manager Holger Schroth said: “Emirates Palace is swiftly becoming the premier venue for weddings in the Middle East, so we are elated to be recognised on the Indian sub-continent from which so many of our most extraordinary destination weddings originate lately.”
The Experiential Venue Awards was co-located with the WOW Awards and Convention Asia 2017, the largest recognition platform for MICE, Live Marketing & the Entertainment Industry. With over 200 hotels nominated across the 15 categories, the eminent jury, which included 18 leaders of the event and experiential industry, had a challenging job before them.
Ultimately, Emirates Palace, with its total meeting and conference space that exceeds 7,000 sqm, an auditorium and ballroom that can accommodate 1,100 and 2,400 guests, respectively, 40 plus meeting rooms, six large terraces and a variety of pre-function areas provide many options for private meetings, cocktail receptions, banquets, concerts, and congresses, was victorious in its class. Set in 85 hectares of beautifully landscaped gardens with vast picturesque lawns, the Palace also offers spectacular outdoor venues for gala dinners and events.
The Experiential Awards, recognised what much of the Hospitality industry already knew–Emirates Palace offers countless options for the most memorable weddings, and our guest’s ceremonial options are limited only by their imaginations.
