Dubai, September, 2026 – Emirati Human Resources Development Council (EHRDC) in Dubai signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nissan Middle East to support the training, qualification, and employment of UAE nationals, strengthening the presence of Emirati talent in the private sector and contributing to the UAE’s Emiratisation objectives. The partnership reflects EHRDC’s efforts to establish a comprehensive framework that connects Emirati talent with the evolving needs of the labour market.
The MoU, signed by H.E. Abdulla Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Deputy Chairman of EHRDC, and Thierry Sabbagh, Divisional Vice President and President – Middle East, KSA, India, CIS, Nissan & INFINITI, expands the Council’s strategic partnerships with private sector entities, including companies operating in free zones. It reinforces their role in attracting Emirati job seekers and providing supportive environments that foster their growth and professional development.
Under the agreement, EHRDC and Nissan Middle East will cooperate on the recruitment of UAE nationals and the delivery of specialised training programs in available and in-demand fields within the company. By leveraging Nissan’s expertise and qualified professionals, the partnership will facilitate the transfer of specialised knowledge and skills to Emirati talent, enhancing their professional readiness and supporting their successful integration and long-term growth within the workplace.
