With the support of the Ministry of Sports and its partners, Business France is setting up a brand-new digital platform to promote the sports industry to international decision-makers. Online from January 28, it is referencing and streamlining the French sports offer on a single website.
The digital platform, French Sport Solutions, presents the French offer in its entirety (sports, equine and water sports sectors) and on its entire value chain. It references French companies in the following fields: infrastructure, sports services and equipment, sports marketing, logistics, events, ticketing, esports, sportech, sports equipment, equipment/care products/services for the equine industry, and equipment and services for water sports.
This platform free of charge is in line with the visit of Roxana MARACINEANU, Minister Delegate in charge of Sports, during the fortnight dedicated to sports on FRANCE Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, UAE, last December. She officially unveiled in front of a high-level panel of both French and GCC institutional, the “French Sport Touch”, a new brand aiming to coordinate under one same umbrella French sport internationally.
Two existing demonstrators have been integrated to French Sport Solutions: Collectif Football France managed by the French Football Federation and Cluster Montagne Solutions, the platform dedicated to mountain sports.
French Sport Solutions is available in English and integrates various features to make the user experience fluid, including different menus classifying companies by sector, but also a world map that allows you to search by geographical area according to several criteria: by expertise, by companies and by references. Local companies and sport federations will be able to have access to carefully sourced French companies in strategic sports fields such as the equine industry that already showed their know-how and potential during the Horse Industry Excellence Days at Expo2020, water sports and leisure and landscape solutions.
The objective of this platform is to make the French Sport Solutions, the digital benchmark tool for foreign buyers, distributors, and decision-makers, such as ministries, sports event organizing committees, federations, and private contractors looking for innovative and world-class solutions.
This sourcing platform couldn’t be timelier as regional governments are actively seeking to use sport to diversify their economies and promote social change, as evidenced by the volume of championships hosted and investments made. According to a study conducted by PwC, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), have spent more than $65bn on sports development. This platform will operate as a matchmaker between foreign buyers and French companies to support the ongoing regional developments and enhance the structuring of sports industry.
