Accra, Ghana – 7 July 2026 – Ghana Investment & Trade Week (GITW) 2026 officially opened today with a prestigious Opening Ceremony led by King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, Ga Mantse and Conference Chairperson, bringing together senior government officials, international investors, business leaders, diplomats, manufacturers, developers and trade professionals at The Palms Convention Center in Accra. Co-located with Africa Build Show and Megawatt Africa, the event marks the start of three days dedicated to advancing trade, investment, infrastructure and industrial development across Ghana and the African continent.
Held under the theme, “Powering Ghana’s 24-Hour Economy: Integrating Infrastructure, Electric Mobility, and Sustainable Real Estate for Investment and Trade Competitiveness,” the event serves as a strategic platform for fostering international partnerships, showcasing innovation and unlocking new investment opportunities that support Ghana’s economic transformation.
A defining highlight of the Opening Ceremony was the leadership of His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, Ga Mantse, whose role as Conference Chairperson underscored the growing partnership between traditional leadership, government and the private sector in driving national development. As Paramount King of the Ga State, His Royal Majesty has been a strong advocate for investment, entrepreneurship and sustainable economic growth. In his opening address, he welcomed delegates from more than 33 countries and encouraged greater collaboration to strengthen Ghana’s position as a leading gateway for investment and trade in West Africa.

Running from 7–9 July 2026, Ghana Investment & Trade Week, together with Africa Build Show and Megawatt Africa, is expected to generate new investment opportunities, strengthen international trade partnerships and accelerate collaboration across sectors that are central to Ghana’s long-term economic growth. The co-located events continue to reinforce Ghana’s position as a gateway for business and investment in West Africa.
