Dubai, United Arab Emirates — October, 2026 — Level Infinite and Gameloft today released the first major update for Gangstar Mirage City across Southeast Asia, South Asia, Eastern and Central Europe, MENA, and LATAM ahead of the global launch in 2027. The update builds on the key feedback and enthusiasm from fans and creators since the success of the soft launch to bring a new season structure, more rewards, a new Syndicate system, time-limited events including Halloween, alongside a broad set of gameplay, balancing and technical improvements.
Set in a near-future city, Gangstar Mirage City delivers a cinematic open-world experience where structured narrative missions collide with unscripted, emergent gameplay.
Here’s a look at the new in-game events, game modes, and gameplay elements coming with this update:
- Frightful Feast: Available from now through November 18, players who log in will receive daily rewards that will help in their progression and fights. Additionally, special locations will be indicated on the map for players to explore a whole range of spooky decorations and special contact missions, from new areas opening like Hilltop Park and a new campsite, to random wandering ghost encounters and shoot outs in haunted houses. Normal quests will also feature supplementary quests that will add towards season pass milestones.
- Vice Tonic: Launching alongside the Halloween event, Vice Tonic lets players roleplay as a Supplement Developer to suply a city obessed with it. Developed in response to one of the community’s most requested features, the mode gives players extensive controls over their operations, from overseeing day-to-day activities to designing their own factories. Start with a small warehouse, make exciting delivery runs while evading Orarra’s checkpoints and reinforced patrols, and gradually build a massive factory capable of automatic supplement production, supply, and distribution, with even more customisation options along the way.
- Franchise Fury: Available from November 19 through December 9, it brings a new turf war between two factions, O-Rage and The Family. Players can choose to join either faction to fight, sabotage and control new territory that will award more rewards to the winning faction.
- Blackbook, a new permanent card collection: Integrated with the Season Pass, Blackbook introduces new ways for players to discover the game’s lore and earn rewards. Players can obtain randomized card packs by completing missions and unlocking Season Pass tiers, gradually uncovering fragments of the game’s story as they build their collections. Completing card sets grants additional seasonal rewards, while a new trading system allows players to exchange duplicate cards with friends and Syndicate members, so no one has to complete their collection alone.
- Syndicates Arrive: Players can now create or join a syndicate of up to 50 members, banding together with like-minded partners to take on Mirage City. The update also expands the game’s social features, making it easier to team up, compare progress and show off what players have built.
- New Firepower and Vehicles: Key additions among them include the limited-time Pumpkin Grenade turning its target’s head into a pumpkin that swells until it bursts — throwable at opponents, teammates, or yourself. New vehicles include the Razor, a two-seat supercar with autonomous driving; the Nomad Pro, a two-seat RV with a customisable interior and an onboard pod that produces daily yields; and the three-seat Tuk-Tuk, whose driver can pop a wheelie boost while rear passengers fire SMGs, assault rifles or shotguns.
The update also brings the fifth Empire Pass, Dance with Death, with reworked rewards and structure, alongside new vehicle, weapon and outfit collections available in the in-game shop.
The Season Ahead: A run of events follows through the coming weeks — double Cash from contact missions from November 5; Tuk-Tuk Derby from November 12; Agent’s War from November 19, where players pick a side in a multi-phase rivalry with rewards at every stage and bonuses for the winning side; double arena rewards from November 26; and a tasting-station event from December 3. UGC racing maps also opens on November 19. Additionally, a pink diamond recharge campaign will be launched and players who top up during this period will receive double the pink diamonds – accumulate enough recharges and get an exclusive pair of cosmetic wings “Take to the Sky”.
A further update later in the season will add even more content to Mirage City.
Gameplay is available in nine languages, including [LANGUAGES], and this update improves text flow and translation accuracy across supported languages for a better localized experience from menus and mission objectives to subtitles and item descriptions.
