UAE: Deloitte marked the official opening of its world-class Deloitte Digital Studio (D.Studio) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on June 17th. The D.Studio is the latest addition to Deloitte Digital’s global network of studios, with more than 50 centres spread across 60 countries, and will enable private and public sector clients to work alongside with Deloitte Digital experts to co-create solutions and deliver sustainable futures that are beneficial for people, business and society.

H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates, inaugurated the D.Studio alongside other distinguished guests and Deloitte leaders. 

The opening of the D.Studio highlights Deloitte’s continued investment in the Middle East, and its commitment to supporting various economic sectors within the region, as well as enhancing the region’s digital transformation agenda to be one of the world’s leading innovative and technology-enabled economies by leveraging Deloitte’s global digital capabilities, and investing in young talent. In line with the UAE Centennial 2071 ambition, digital technologies will be a key contributor and platform for delivering future-focused government, quality education and a diversified knowledge economy.

During the inauguration ceremony, H.E Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri gave a speech in which he praised the constructive cooperation between the UAE government and the business sector in general, and Deloitte Middle East in particular, in several fields including the new economy, of which the new digital center is a result of.  He said: “The UAE, led by the vision of its wise leadership, continues its efforts to build a diversified global competitive economy based on knowledge, innovation, advanced technology, research and development, and led by national competencies equipped with future skills. The UAE government is keen to consolidate its position as an attractive destination for leading international companies and serve as an incubating and supportive environment for business activities in various sectors of the future, foremost of which are digital technology and smart transformation.”. 

H.E. added: “The Deloitte Digital Center in Dubai will help both government sector institutions and national and international companies operating in the UAE to develop their visions and achieve their future ambitions. Thus, it will be able to contribute to the growth of the national economy, in addition to enabling ambitious Emirati youth to play bigger roles in driving digital revolution.”
