Celebrating the global spirit of football and reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility, the Sports Wing of INCAS Youth Wing UAE organized a FIFA World Cup Friendly Tournament at the Star International School Stadium in Dubai. The tournament brought together teams representing four of football’s most celebrated nations—Argentina, Brazil, Portugal, and France—in a day of competitive sport, community engagement, and youth empowerment.
The event commenced with a strong message of solidarity against drug abuse, with participants expressing their support for the anti-drug awareness campaign led by Kerala Home Minister Shri Ramesh Chennithala. Before kickoff, all players and attendees took an anti-drug pledge, underscoring the organization’s commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and social responsibility among youth.
The tournament was presided over by INCAS Youth Wing UAE Sports Wing Chairman Shri Shafeeq Musthafa and officially inaugurated by Patron Member Shri Sanish Kumar. INCAS Youth Wing UAE General Secretary Shri Sreekumar M. Balachandran administered the anti-drug pledge to all participants during the opening ceremony.
Following a series of competitive matches, the Brazil team, captained by Shri Shyam Kumar, emerged victorious after an exciting final. The championship trophy was jointly presented by INCAS Youth Wing UAE Founder Leader and IYC UAE Chairman Shri Haider Thattathazhath and INCAS Youth Wing UAE President Shri Firos Kanhangad.
The event was attended by several senior office bearers and community leaders, including INCAS Youth Wing UAE Treasurer Melbin Joseph, Working President Rinu Mathew Pulimoottil, Vice Presidents Naja Kabeer and Abdul Haneefa, INCAS Dubai Ernakulam Committee President Abdullah Sayani, and Patron Members Jijo Chirakkal Mathew, Mirshad Nullippady, and Jamshad.
