Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) has signed a MoU with SenseTime, a leading global artificial intelligence (AI) software company, to run a pilot project that will support the development of a smart city platform within its iconic business and lifestyle destination and to provide better customer value proposition.
Located at the heart of Riyadh, KAFD has redefined the city’s skyline with its 94 towers and offers a world-class business ecosystem and vibrant lifestyle experiences. KAFD is a landmark project and key driver of Riyadh’s economic ambitions and Saudi Vision 2030. As a result of the MoU agreement between SenseTime and KAFD, SenseTime will run a pilot project at KAFD to deploy its cutting-edge AI technologies and demonstrate a scalable Smart City Platform to improve overall operation optimization, asset management and user experience.
The Smart City Platform consists of a full range of modules, such as Smart Building Management, Smart Parking Management and Smart Office Management. The Smart Building and Parking Management platforms will provide contactless access and real-time services for residents, tenants and visitors. The Smart Office Management platform helps to enhance the working experience in commercial premises by providing digital office products and services.
