Manama, Bahrain: Kanoo Oil & Gas, a division of YBA Kanoo Group has signed an Assembler Agreement with BRDR Christensen of Denmark for the local assembly of Lubricated Plug Valves in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during a recent visit by a high-level management delegation from BRDR Christensen, which included Mr. Kurt Erling Bang Christensen-Chairman, Mr. Thomas V. Christensen-Chief Executive Officer and Mr. Dennis W. Larsen-Chief Commercial Officer.
Group CEO of YBA Kanoo, Dr Patrick Chenel commented on the agreement stating that “This Assembly facility for Plug Valves is the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia and an important milestone for Kanoo Oil & Gas as it enhances our capabilities and helps us to be a more effective contributor to the In-Kingdom Total Value Add (IKTVA) program of Saudi Arabia.”
BRDR Christensen is a privately-owned company located in Denmark founded in 1942 and has been setting manufacturing standards for plug valves for more than 50 years and have obtained a unique “first choice” status amongst the leading companies in the Oil and Gas industry across the globe.
During this visit, BRDR Servicing team also conducted the Plug Valve Repair & Assembly, hands-on training for Kanoo Oil & Gas technical staff, as a part of the Authorized Service Agreement & Assembler agreement. BRDR Christensen imparted the training at the Kanoo Oil & Gas Dammam Workshop facility.
