Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Local swimwear brand Beach Seventy-Six is excited to announce its expansion into a curated multi brand platform ‘The Natural Pier’ – a one stop shops for all things sustainable beach lifestyle.

The Natural Pier is a mission led marketplace connecting conscious consumers to an affordable luxury brands sourced both locally and across the globe. Being sustainable and ethical in product and process is at the heart of the brand as they believe sustainability is not just a trend – but it is the future. First-of-its-kind in the UAE, the site aims to bring all beach lifestyle categories to market selling a wide range of products from swimwear for women & men through to handmade woven beach bags and vegan sunscreen.

Founder Grace Downes says “I’m pleased to see the sustainability movement taking hold in the UAE and seeing both retailers and consumers making conscious choices when it comes to product purchasing. It felt like a natural progression to launch The Natural Pier and bring sustainable beach lifestyle products to the market on a curated e-commerce platform.”

ECONYL is a regenerated nylon fibre from fishnets and other nylon waste from Ocean and landfill. All materials are responsibility sourced and all pieces are sustainably manufactured.

About Grace Downes
The Natural Pier was founded by Grace Downes who was born and raised in the UK before making the move to Dubai in 2013. She has worked in the fashion industry for over 20 years for brands such as Swarovski, Aspinal of London and DKNY. She started her own inclusive swimwear brand Beach Seventy-Six in 2016 which in turn moved into the sustainability space by focussing on eco-friendly fabrics and sourcing brands with purpose. However, Grace always dreamt of being part of something bigger, to have a purpose and to change consumer habits both environmentally and socially and so The Natural Pier was born.
