Dubai Municipality’s Director General Visits Elite Agro Stand
Dubai: Elite Agro, a leading Abu Dhabi producer and distributor of fresh vegetables and fruits locally and regionally is currently participating at the ongoing 8th International Perishables Expo Middle East (WOP) 2016, Dubai, UAE. The company which has introduced a year-round supply of locally grown produce to the UAE market sold under the Elite Harvest brand, is displaying a selection of its fresh produce grown in the UAE, Serbia and Morocco, and the technologies utilized such as flow-wrap for fresh produce distribution.
Speaking on the motivation to participate, Mr. Peter Ensor, Marketing and Sales Director, said, “Our primary goal is to showcase our capabilities and capacities in the UAE agriculture sector to interested parties with the intention of building and maintaining long-term partnerships that would assist in the overall development of the agriculture sector. Our participation is to drive interest and display that it is not impossible to supply fresh-produce year-round in the UAE. So far, the response we have received has been positive especially Dubai Municipality’s Director General showing interest in our products, and processes.”
On Sunday, Elite Agro’s stand at WOP 2016 was graced by Er. Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General, Dubai Municipality who was received by Elite Agro’s Cluster Managing Director, Mr. Saeed Al Bahri. Mr. Bahri introduce Er. Lootah to the company’s agricultural products on display and techniques utilized to ensure a year-round supply, the technologies used to retain freshness when distributing produce.
Elite Agro supplies fresh produce grown on 500,000sqm farmland in Abu Dhabi, consisting of net houses, greenhouses, fiels, and packing facilities.
Elite Agro’s produce and technologies are on display at Hall 7, Stand No. 30.
