Minister of Family: Emirati Woman Is Making Her Mark on the Nation’s Progress and Shaping Future Generations

H.E. Sana bint Mohammed Suhail, Minister of Family, affirmed that Emirati Women’s Day tells an inspiring national story shaped by the vision of the wise leadership and the efforts of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the ‘Mother of the Nation’, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation.

Her forward-looking vision has firmly established woman as pivotal partner in the UAE’s progress and as a mother who nurture her family through her values and dedication, instilling in her children the qualities of a generation confident in its identity and capable of carrying forward the UAE’s journey of achievement and further advancing its standing.

H.E. added: “This year’s Emirati Women’s Day theme, ‘Together, We Emerge Stronger and Better’, reflects the UAE’s forward-looking spirit, grounded in ambition and responsibility.

It reaffirms that the achievements of Emirati woman are the result of a national ecosystem founded on the integration of roles, in line with the ‘Mother of the Nation 50:50’ vision, which sets out broader prospects for woman’s participation in leading the nation’s journey of development and prosperity. 

The occasion also coincides with the Year of the Family, adding a national dimension that highlights the close connection between family prosperity and societal advancement, with woman playing an essential role in embedding values and strengthening pride in national identity.”

H.E. said that the Ministry of Family continues to foster a supportive environment that opens up broader opportunities for Emirati woman to contribute and excel, based on the belief that a thriving society begins with empowering people and strengthening the role of woman and the family. She added that the influential presence achieved by female national talent across diverse fields reflects the nation’s confidence in their capabilities and its firm belief that Emirati woman is making her mark on the nation’s progress, shaping future generations, and contributing through her active participation to sustaining the UAE’s achievements.
