MoHAP’s Riayati platform transforms the nation’s healthcare landscape

Dubai: The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has unveiled that Riayati program for exchange of healthcare information, continues its plan to connect government and private hospitals and more than 2,500 other healthcare facilities including clinics, diagnostic centres, dialysis centres, and pharmacies.

This will also integrate with Nabidh, Malaffi, the current centralised database for real-time public health information exchanges, and services of ICA (Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship). The success of Riayati will positively transform the healthcare landscape in the country. 

The Riayati program is a state-of-the-art platform to improve patient healthcare experience in the UAE through a centralised and integrated healthcare system. The initiative will increase accessibility of patient health data in the UAE through connecting public and private health facilities and information exchange.

Riayati is a world class healthcare platform for the National Unified Medical Record (NUMR) programme launched under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. 

Along with HIE, the Riayati programme will also Implement the MoHAP’s ‘post office’ initiative to enable seamless exchange of insurance claims between healthcare facilities and insurance companies.

The single patient filing system will be accessible to healthcare professionals across the UAE. Apelon is a clinical informatics organisation focused on accelerating eHealth through data standardisation and interoperability. Apelon’s terminology solutions will normalise the clinical data received from different organisations and will make it ready for machine learning and artificial intelligence.
