Najm organizes breast cancer awareness and free testing campaign


In line with its dedication to women empowerment,

Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: In line with its employee empowerment strategy aiming to offer an exemplary workplace with the highest standards, Najm for Insurance Services launched an internal health campaign aiming to raise awareness on the risks of breast cancer among its female staff who form a crucial component of its human capital. The campaign came in parallel with World Breast Cancer Awareness Month which coincides with October of every year. 

The campaign encompassed the distribution of a number of awareness publications in addition to free preliminary testing in cooperation with the Ministry of Health at the company’s self-service center to check for any breast cancer symptoms. The campaign also featured a series of lectures and awareness sessions that highlighted stories of breast cancer survivors and their healing journeys.

This effort complements numerous women empowerment initiatives organized by Najm, which makes the company one of the top employers for female talents in Saudi Arabia across various positions from field to office jobs. Najm does not limit hiring women based on quantity but also appoints them within various positions, with women currently holding 24% of its office-based jobs, making Najm a pioneer within the insurance sector in this regard.

Those results testify to the growing role of women at Najm, which fulfils the directives of Saudi Vision 2030 pertaining to women empowerment and its targets to raise the percentage of women in the workforce from 22% to 30% by 2030.
