New enhancements reinforce NBF’s commitment to delivering a seamless, connected and customer-centric digital banking experience

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – October 2026: National Bank of Fujairah PJSC (NBF) has introduced a series of enhancements to its NBF Direct mobile app, marking further progress in its digital transformation strategy and commitment to delivering accessible, efficient and customer-focused banking services.

Introduced in September 2026, the enhancements expand the app’s self-service capabilities, streamline everyday banking processes and provide customers with greater control over their financial activities. The updates form part of NBF’s continued investment in digital innovation, aimed at creating a more integrated banking experience that responds to evolving customer needs.

As part of these improvements, customers can now request liability letters directly through NBF Direct, removing the need to visit a branch to initiate the process. Completed letters can be delivered by email or collected from an NBF branch, offering greater convenience and flexibility.

NBF has also introduced push notifications for iOS users, enabling customers to stay informed through timely updates on important banking activities and services. The feature provides a more direct and convenient channel for essential service-related communications.

The latest enhancements also extend to credit card management, offering customers greater flexibility in managing their available credit. Through the app, customers can adjust their full credit limit before using their card and, once the card has been used, reduce the limit to the utilised amount plus five per cent, providing greater control over their credit exposure.

In addition, the introduction of Open Finance integration enables customers to securely share account information with approved third-party applications and connect multiple bank accounts in one place. By facilitating access to financial information across banking platforms, the feature supports a more connected and transparent banking experience.

The enhancements underscore NBF’s continued focus on strengthening its digital infrastructure and expanding the range of services available through its digital channels. As customer expectations and banking technologies evolve, the bank remains committed to developing practical, technology-driven solutions that improve accessibility, simplify financial management and support long-term digital innovation.
