NBO Hosts Kids Carnival, Strengthens Employee Engagement

The National Bank of Oman (NBO) recently hosted its annual Kids Carnival, a tradition since 2017. The event, which took place at NBO’s head office, was exclusively dedicated to employees and their families, emphasising the bank’s strong bond with its workforce. The Kids Carnival has consistently garnered an enthusiastic response from employees and their families over the years. Its aim was not only to provide an enjoyable experience but also to instil values of responsibility and the significance of financial literacy in young minds.

With the new school year, NBO recognised the essential role of preparing children for academic excellence. The carnival featured a series of interactive workshops, cultural activities and engaging sessions, all meticulously designed to ignite a passion for learning among children. One of the highlights of the carnival was the robotics workshop, offering children a captivating glimpse into the world of technology and innovation.

Financial literacy was another key area of focus for NBO, aiming to impart an understanding of financial management skills from an early age. The Kids Carnival shed light on the importance of cultivating responsible financial habits through engaging activities.

Furthermore, the Kids Carnival provided a unique platform for young participants to nurture their entrepreneurial spirit. A specially designated area encouraged children to set up their own mini-businesses, allowing them to exhibit their creativity and practice their entrepreneurial skills. This initiative aligned with NBO’s mission to nurture the next generation of innovators and business leaders.

NBO’s annual Kids Carnival exemplified the Bank’s commitment to shaping a brighter future for Oman’s youth. Through a dynamic blend of education, entertainment and innovation, the Bank aimed to inspire the leaders of tomorrow and contribute to Oman’s efforts in preparing the future generation to be innovators.
