Abu Dhabi, UAE: EasyLease (PJSC), the UAE’s mobility solution leader and a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi-based International Holding Company (IHC), has been instrumental in the clean up efforts to help families and communities affected by the heavy rainfall in Fujairah, with hundreds of staff on the ground supporting neighbourhoods to repair the damage and restore order.
Civil authorities recruited more than 500 of the 1000 team members who volunteered from EasyLease and its subsidiaries, Uplift Delivery Services and 1885 Delivery Services, to actively participate in the cleaning efforts across Fujairah City Centre, the Sakamkam area, and Fujairah Port. The team from EasyLease provided manual labour and the necessary machinery and equipment to work in coordination with the Fujairah Municipality to effectively and efficiently repair areas affected in the northern emirate.
Ahmad Al Sadah, CEO of EasyLease, said: “This initiative to support the clean up efforts in Fujairah is borne from EasyLease’s commitment to serve and support local communities of the UAE. More than 1,000 members of our team volunteered to participate, and I would like to commend everyone for their generosity and hard work over the past days, as we joined together in unity to provide a helping hand for those in need. In that spirit, we stand ready to provide continued support and resources to the efforts; it is our honor to work alongside and support the dedicated civil authorities and volunteers who are restoring this community.”
