India & Dubai, UAE

FasterCapital today announced it has selected Trovando to join EquityPilot, aiming to accelerate the development and market rollout of the company’s AI-powered university search and application platform. The program will focus on strengthening Trovando’s product, analytics, and go-to-market execution over the first 30–60 days.

FasterCapital’s EquityPilot will support Trovando with a concentrated execution plan during the first 30–60 days, targeting product enhancements, data integration, and early commercial partnerships to improve student matching and reduce misaligned applications.

Why It Matters?

Students face a fragmented and often biased admissions advice market, with many relying on legacy consultancies, spreadsheets, and non-personalized guidance. This leads to costly misapplications and confusion about program fit, affordability, and visa prospects. Demand signals from online forums, messaging groups, and search intent suggest strong, persistent need for a more personalized, data-driven service.

What the Startup Delivers?

Trovando is an AI-first university search and decision engine designed to match students’ full profiles academics, test scores, finances, career goals, and personal preferences to best-fit programs across major study destinations. The platform automates resume parsing, relevance scoring, SOP assistance, visa readiness checks, and subsequent steps to streamline the end-to-end application journey.

Why Now?

Timing Advances in semantic matching, embeddings, and automation make more accurate, scalable personalization feasible. At the same time, rising outbound student volumes and higher application costs mean better targeting can materially reduce re-application expense and time-to-decision for learners and advisors.

What FasterCapital Will Provide?

– Focused product and AI execution support to accelerate feature delivery and model improvements

– Hands-on go-to-market guidance, including customer acquisition channels and partner introductions – Mentorship on commercialization, pricing, and enterprise product positioning – Connections to ecosystem stakeholders, including potential university and channel partners

First 30–60 Days

Program Plan In the initial phase, work will center on enhancing the resume parsing and matching pipeline, expanding early program and visa datasets, refining the scoring framework, and establishing key partner integrations to seed user acquisition channels. The team will define measurable milestones for model accuracy, platform stability, and initial partner flows.

Leadership Comment

Hesham Zreik, Founder and CEO of FasterCapital, said: ‘We’re excited to support Trovando through EquityPilot. Our team will focus on execution milestones and connecting the startup with the right ecosystem stakeholders.’

Next 90 Days

Metrics for the next quarter include platform usage, dataset expansion, and partner onboarding progress.
