Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – August, 2026 – Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier, today announced the expansion of its global network into Asia with new services linking Riyadh to Islamabad, Lahore and Manila. Public ticket sales for all three destinations are now open, with inaugural flights to Islamabad on August 14, Lahore on August 18 and Manila on September 9, 2026. The route development supports Riyadh Air’s broader role in strengthening Riyadh’s connectivity and contributing to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 ambitions.
Further Connecting Pakistan to Riyadh, the Middle East and Europe:
The launch of services between Riyadh and Pakistan builds on the deep cultural and economic ties between Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The routes are designed to serve demand from business, leisure, work and family travelers, including the Pakistani expatriate community in Saudi Arabia plus support onward connectivity to the Middle East region and Europe. For travelers from Pakistan, the new services open more direct access to Riyadh’s business, cultural, entertainment and economic offering.
Philippines and Saudi Arabia, Elevated Travel Options for Expats and Families:
Riyadh Air’s new daily service to Manila reflects the expanding relationship between Saudi Arabia and the Philippines, with travel increasingly driven by commercial partnerships, education, leisure and wellness tourism. The route provides an elevated travel option for the established Filipino community in Saudi Arabia, as well as business and leisure travelers connecting between both capitals.
As Saudi Arabia’s capital and commercial hub, Riyadh offers visitors from Manila direct access to modern attractions, cultural landmarks and a growing economic landscape, while positioning the city as a gateway to local, regional and key European destinations.
Riyadh Air will operate daily flights between Riyadh (RUH) and Islamabad ISB: flight RX0659 departs Riyadh at 13:45 four times a week Sun, Mon, Wed, Fri, and flight RX0661 departs Riyadh at 20:10 three times a week (Tue, Thu, Sat).
