150 Trainees Enrolled in a Program to Help Achieve Coveted Geriatric Accreditation:

Saudi Health, in cooperation with Health Holding Company, organized -in early August- a joint program, to train non-geriatric health personnel in dealing with elderly patients.
The program, which was jointly run between the Training and the Home Healthcare Departments within the ministry of Health, included lectures and workshops by geriatrics consultants.
Saudi Health indicated that the main goal behind this training was enabling medical staff to achieve age-friendly hospital certification. Which entails training healthcare providers and providing geriatric-related equipment to facilitate services and achieve the highest patient and companion satisfaction.
