Scientechnic, the turnkey engineering solutions provider and flagship company of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, has added to its list of power brands by entering into a distribution partnership with Honeywell, for their extensive range of medical and industrial Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The 50 years of experience and knowledge in regulatory compliance, safety management and PPE equipment selection and application, uniquely positions Honeywell to help safety managers build a culture where workers make safer choices on their own.
Spearheading this partnership within Scientechnic is the Industrial Stock Sales (ISS) division, the region’s one-stop solution for electrical, engineering and automation products. As part of this partnership, ISS’ extensive portfolio will include Honeywell’s industrial safety range of eye, face, head, respiratory, hearing and fall protection solutions. Also included are UAE-made medical N95 masks and the medical PPE range of nitrile gloves.
Commenting on this strategic development, Easa F. Al Gurg, Group CEO of ESAG says, “COVID-19 changed the landscape within all aspects of life, but more so within health and safety, with governments across the world assessing effective risk management to safeguard their people. At Scientechnic, we consider agility as one of our core strengths and venturing into PPE is a natural expansion of the wide gamut of our capabilities. We take pride in being not just a turnkey solutions provider with the best innovative products, but also a key player in elevating safety standards for people across a wide range of markets and industries. Naturally, Honeywell International Inc., a Fortune 100 company that invents and manufactures technologies to address challenges linked to global macro trends, was our obvious choice. We look forward to a long standing and successful partnership with Honeywell.”
“We look forward to our distribution arrangement with Scientechnic to address the healthcare sector’s rising need for a trusted PPE provider. Scientechnic brings a lot of value to end users with their turnkey solutions approach. Honeywell has accelerated global investment in our Healthcare PPE portfolio with a focus on the UAE market with the first N95 respirator production site in Al Ain. The facility is capable of producing 70,000 units per day.” said Roman Poludnev, General Manager, Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions, Middle East, Russia, Turkey, Africa (MERTA).
The alliance with Honeywell provides Scientechnic the distribution rights to sell and promote Honeywell PPE in the UAE.
