Holcim UAE and Oman is proud to announce that Shevyn Marshall, from Holcim Emirates Cement, has been selected to represent the country at the One Young World Summit 2026, held in Cape Town, South Africa this November.
He joins delegates from across the Holcim Group as part of the company’s ongoing partnership with One Young World, a global forum uniting over 2,000 young leaders from more than 190 countries to tackle critical issues shaping the future.
This year’s Summit returns to Africa for the first time since 2013, with discussions centred on five key challenges facing young leaders today: food security, the future of work and AI, gender-based violence and safety, the future of Africa, and peace and security.
“Representing Holcim UAE and Oman at One Young World is a real privilege. It’s a chance to connect with young leaders from around the world, exchange ideas, and bring fresh perspectives back to our team.”
– Shevyn Marshall | Holcim Emirates Cement
Holcim’s partnership with One Young World reflects the company’s global commitment to investing in people and ideas. Locally, this is complemented by graduate programmes, traineeships, and mentoring initiatives designed to develop emerging talent across the UAE and Oman.
Shevyn’s selection highlights Holcim’s ongoing focus on empowering future-ready talent and bringing global insight into the business. We look forward to seeing the ideas and connections he brings back to the UAE and Oman.
