Sony’s participation in the program combined technical training, cinematic storytelling guidance, and hands-on product experiences to support emerging podcast creators across the Arab world.
Sony Middle East and Africa participated in the third edition of the Arab Podcast Program, organised by Dubai Press Club, as a knowledge partner supporting the development of emerging audio and visual content creators across the Arab world.
Held at Dubai Press Club Headquarters, the two-hour workshop, titled “The Art of Visual and Cinematic Direction for Podcasts,” gave participants practical guidance on producing engaging, high-quality podcast content through effective use of digital imaging technology.
The session was led by Ahmed Eid Salem, Training Specialist, Digital Imaging, Sony Middle East and Africa alongside cinematographer Moris Dakar. Ahmed focused on the technical aspects of podcast production, while Moris explored the fundamentals of videography and visual storytelling, demonstrating how framing, lighting, and cinematic direction can elevate podcast content. Participants engaged with the mentors during the session and expressed appreciation for the opportunity to gain hands-on experience.
