The global acts will bring race week to a close following the Formula 1 season finale
Abu Dhabi, UAE, August, 2026: The Chainsmokers and The Script will deliver the closing performances of the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026, taking to the stage at Etihad Live on Sunday, 6 December.
Following the final chequered flag, the two global acts will carry the energy of the Formula 1 season finale into the night, bringing four days of racing and entertainment to an unforgettable close as part of the Yasalam presented by e& entertainment programme.
David Powell, Chief Portfolio & Strategy Officer at Ethara Live, said: “There is nothing quite like Sunday at the Yasalam After-Race Concerts. The excitement of the final race carries straight into Etihad Live, where thousands of fans come together for the F1 season finale celebration. The Chainsmokers have brought their incredible energy to stages across the globe including the main stage at Tomorrowland earlier this year, whilst The Script will bring their signature catalogue of songs which have sold out international arenas such as Co-op Live in Manchester and The O2 in London as part of their world tour. Together, they give fans two completely different live experiences and a brilliant finale to race week in Abu Dhabi.”
GRAMMY Award-winning duo The Chainsmokers have built a catalogue of global hits spanning pop, indie, electronic, alternative and rock, including Don’t Let Me Down, Paris, Something Just Like This and Closer, making them one of the most-streamed songs in Spotify history. Known for pairing euphoric production with instantly recognisable melodies, Alex Pall and Drew Taggart will bring their high-energy live show to Abu Dhabi for the final night of race week.
Joining them are The Script, the multi-platinum, chart-topping band behind global hits including Hall of Fame, Breakeven and The Man Who Can’t Be Moved, who will bring their emotionally charged songwriting and powerful live performances to Abu Dhabi. Their newly-released album The User’s Guide To Being Human marks the next chapter in the band’s story in a career spanning almost two decades, building a devoted international following.
The Chainsmokers and The Script join the previously announced Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson, performing on Thursday, 3 December, and Imagine Dragons, performing on Saturday, 5 December, with more global artists to be announced soon.
Access to the After-Race Concerts is exclusive to Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders, with upgrades to Golden Circle available to guarantee access to the concerts and get closer to the stage.
