The Emirates Institute of Finance (EIF), a regional leader in banking and finance training, has announced the launch of “Ethraa Alumni Association (EAA)” during the Ramadan Networking Event to foster a community among EIF’s graduates.
The main objective of the Ethraa Alumni Association is to build an EIF community to allow the alumni to continue to grow, learn, and widen their horizons within the fields of banking and finance. Through the EAA, graduates will be able to develop in their careers through the job postings, resume workshops and mentorship programs that EIF is planning to provide.
Ethraa Alumni Association will be governed by Alumni Ambassadors who will be in charge in hosting several virtual and in-person events, including guest lectures, panel discussions and fundraising events. EIF is also planning to host webinars, workshops and seminars addressing trends, practices, and emerging topics in finance to keep alumni updated with the fast-paced industry.
The EAA will host an annual alumni reunion and will provide exclusive benefits to the graduates including promotions in several stores across the UAE, invitations to exclusive events and full access to the campus facilities.
Ramadan Networking Event:
The Ramadan Networking Event hosted four speakers, PhD scholar on emotional intelligence, Maya Al Hawary, Entrepreneur Ali Al Saloom, Finance Executive Auditor and Project Manager Alessio Faccia, and Cybersecurity Analyst Ronith Rajan.
EIF recently graduated 1056 professional trainees since Ethraa’s inaugural cohort in 2023, out of which some were nominated to become alumni ambassadors during the event. A graduates’ video was also presented in the event to highlight their key milestones. The event also hosted inspirational talks by Ethraa Alumni, sharing their experiences as successful financial leaders.

We hope through the alumni association, the graduates will act as EIF’s ambassadors, proud of the milestone they achieved.”
