Invitation-only event will leverage international and regional entrepreneurs to share key business practices, personal experiences through panels, workshops and clinics
The Dubai Chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) has announced the dates and venue for its next TiECon Dubai: 18 April 2018 at the Dubai Knowledge Village Auditorium. TiECon Dubai 2018 will be held under the “Year of Zayed” banner drawing on parallels between building a nation, building a sustainable entrepreneurship environment and building successful companies.
One of the key gatherings of the region, TiECon Dubai 2018 is an invitation only event and brings together the brightest minds from all over the world, including entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, thought leaders and key government stakeholders, with participation from members from more than a dozen countries throughout the TiE Global Network.
Deepak Padmanabhan, President of TiE Dubai, said, “As the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem continues to evolve and expand, our commitment to foster entrepreneurship has also evolved and TiECon Dubai gives us the opportunity to share these initiatives with our start up and business communities. This year’s event will bring a new crop of regional and international entrepreneurial heavyweights to share their personal journeys and present their insights to start-ups and entrepreneurs in the region.”
More than 300 participants will gather for the day-long convention and attend some of the various sessions in the program with topics revolving around key entrepreneurship trends, opportunities and challenges, across multiple sectors and disciplines as well as content and activities focusing on the four themes drawn from the values of Zayed: Wisdom, Respect, Sustainability and Human Development.
TiE Dubai will also be launching its TiE Mentorship Program, a structured program developed based on best practices researched across the global TiE network. The program will run over three phases, with the first phase beginning immediately to invite applications from within the TiE Dubai community and partner ecosystem.
Padmanabhan added, “TiECon Dubai 2018 couldn’t have happened without the support of our strategic partners, Dubai Internet City and in5 Tech, as well as our team of fearless volunteers from within the TiE Dubai community.”
