Ethiopia: Despite the setbacks from COVID19, the Africa’s digital economy is on track to expand in the coming years, transforming the way businesses and government functions with the potential to reach $180 billion by 2025, according to the Google and IFC report.

In an interview leading up to BYTES ’21: Africa, Dr. Ahmedin pointed out that “the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (MiNT) aims to build a digital economy by implementing digital practices and building the capacity of relevant stakeholders along the way.”
