Fashion walk for hope held with breast cancer survivors for awareness
Dubai, United Arab Emirates: As part of its ongoing campaign to raise awareness about breast cancer and highlight the importance of regular screenings, Gargash Hospital, recently organized a fashion walk – Warriors’ Way Forward – to demonstrate to the community that it is possible to a have a normal life after cancer if detected at an early stage and treated right for a complete cure.
During the fashion walk, few breast cancer survivors walked the ramp exuding the strength and determination of a warrior. The brave women – the Heroes – belonging to different walks of the society, age group, and ethnicity, shared stories of their battle with cancer and how they overcame their common nemesis. They urged the women present to believe that there is always hope after being diagnosed with breast cancer. The designers – Ms. Rana & Ms. Rosa, showcased a collection of daily wear especially designed for women battling with breast cancer using a special fabric provided by Cotton On.

Early detection is key in the successful treatment of breast cancer, as it also increases the survival rate. The strength and determination shown by these warriors is truly commendable.
