The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) is gearing up for the ongoing Ramadan pilgrimage with a comprehensive medical response plan.
The plan encompasses over 35 centers, strategically positioned across the holy city. This includes dedicated facilities within the Grand Mosque itself, alongside internal and external centers. More than 80 ambulances, equipped with cutting-edge medical technology, will be deployed to ensure swift response to emergencies.
Furthermore, the SRCA has mobilized a fleet of specialized vehicles to enhance mobility within the Haram courtyards. This includes 7 disaster response vehicles, 150 bicycles and scooters, 10 motorcycles, and 14 golf carts, facilitating rapid movement of critical cases.
A dedicated team of 887 employees, alongside 900 volunteers, will be instrumental in implementing this plan. The SRCA’s commitment to pilgrim well-being is evident in its efforts to create a safe and comfortable environment for all to perform their spiritual journey during Ramadan.
