The month-long campaign brings the community together through movement, wellbeing, support and celebration
Abu Dhabi, UAE – October 2026: Yas Marina Circuit has joined forces with the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC) to launch this year’s ‘Power of Pink’ campaign, bringing together the circuit’s community and wellness programmes with ADPHC’s ‘Check What Really Matters’ health initiative throughout October.
Throughout the month, the campaign will use the reach and community of Yas Marina Circuit to encourage people to prioritise their health and wellbeing, while raising awareness around breast cancer prevention and care. The partnership brings together Power of Pink’s energy, community and event experience with Check What Really Matters’ focus on health awareness and action.
Power of Pink will centre around four key moments: Power to Move, Power to Heal, Power to Care and Power to Celebrate, encouraging the community to take different steps towards looking after themselves and supporting those around them.
The next session take place on 26 October, followed by a women-only TrainYAS Ladies session on 27 October, bringing the community together through movement, wellness and health awareness.
Dr. Durra Mohammed Alblooshi, Acting Executive Director of the Community Health Sector, Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre said: “We are keen at the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre to promote public health awareness by engaging directly with the community through our presence at various community and recreational events. This allows us to be closer to community members and communicate our health messages to them, emphasising the importance of giving healthcare a priority in their lives.
This reflects our commitment and reinforces our collaboration with our partners. Through the ‘Care About What Matters’ campaign, we continue to promote a culture of prevention and build a healthier society by helping people address their concerns and misconceptions that may prevent women from attending regular screenings. We encourage women to take proactive steps towards their health, while emphasising the importance of regular screening. This begins with awareness and culminates in the decisions people make every day, making preventive care and regular screenings a natural and lasting part of our lives.”
Nimer Shweikeh, Portfolio & Programs Director at Yas Marina Circuit, said: “Throughout October, we have brought our community together through a series of meaningful moments focused on movement, wellbeing, support and celebration. Through each activation, we want to encourage everyone to prioritise their health, support those around them and remember one important message: Check What Really Matters.”
