- AI agents as part of ZoomMate help teams automate work and move from conversation to completion
- Zoom AI On-Prem brings Zoom AI capabilities to customer-controlled environments
Digital conversations fuel today’s workplace. Teams align in meetings, resolve issues in chat, and collaborate across functions every day. Yet, turning those discussions into action often requires employees to search for information, coordinate follow-up, and manage tasks across disconnected apps.
To help organizations move work forward more efficiently, Zoom is expanding ZoomMate with AI agents. Built directly into the flow of work, AI agents help teams find information, automate follow-up, execute workflows, and coordinate action across business systems.
“Organizations don’t need another tool — they need a system of action to solve today’s fragmented workflow,” said Russell Dicker, chief product officer at Zoom. “The AI agents help teams take action directly within the flow of work, connecting information, workflows, and next steps across the organization. As AI becomes a more active participant in everyday work, we’re focused on helping organizations move from conversation to completion faster and with less manual effort.”
For companies in regulated industries and security-conscious environments, Zoom is also introducing Zoom AI On-Prem, enabling organizations to deploy Zoom AI capabilities within their customer-controlled infrastructure.
Together, these innovations provide organizations with greater flexibility in how they deploy AI and greater intelligence in how work gets done.
Users can now access ZoomMate within the Zoom Workplace app.
Turning conversations into action:
Decisions get made, priorities shift, and next steps take shape in virtual meetings, over chat, and in person. Yet turning those moments into completed work is often bogged down by manual information capturing, coordinate follow-up, and content deliverables across multiple systems.
With today’s launch, Zoom is streamlining this process with technology that does the heavy lifting in ZoomMate across the Zoom Workplace app. These tools absorb context across meetings, chats, notes, and connected apps to accelerate how teams find information, coordinate, and create work products without losing momentum. Capabilities include:
- Uncover: Find information across conversations, decisions, and connected business systems.
- Orchestrate: Coordinate follow-up work by assigning tasks, updating systems, and helping teams track next steps.
- Uplevel: Generate first-draft presentations, reports, project plans, proposals, and spreadsheets, gleaned from discussion.
Bringing search, workflow automation, task execution, and content creation together in a single experience helps teams spend less time recreating context and more time turning decisions into results.
ZoomMate is available today for online and direct customers, starting at $20 per user per month with included AI credits.

AI that understands how teams work:
Organizations rely on a growing number of systems to manage information, processes, and customer interactions. Finding the right information and moving work forward often requires employees to search across multiple applications and manually coordinate follow-ups.
ZoomMate is expanding to bring intelligent AI agents across Zoom Workplace to help teams surface relevant knowledge, automate follow-through, and execute tasks across the existing systems. Zoom has simplified the AI agent creation and deployment process for users: just enter a brief prompt with a short description and context details, then interact with the agent directly in Zoom Chat through dedicated one-on-one conversations or by adding it to existing chat channels. Capabilities include:
- Find answers across meetings, chats, and connected business applications.
- Context from Salesforce, ServiceNow, Google Drive, Confluence, Box, OneDrive, and other enterprise systems.
- Automate follow-through across teams and systems.
- Assign tasks, route requests, and update records.
- Work within existing permissions and access controls.
AI agents are included with ZoomMate plans and subject to AI credits.
Zoom AI is now available on-prem and in private cloud:
As AI adoption expands across regulated industries and large enterprises, deployment flexibility has become increasingly important. These organizations require AI that meets strict security, privacy, compliance, and data residency standards, regardless of where it’s deployed.
Zoom AI On-Prem extends Zoom AI capabilities to customer-controlled environments, including on-premises deployments and private cloud infrastructure. Built on Zoom Node — the same proven architecture powering Meetings Hybrid and Phone Local Survivability — Zoom AI On-Prem processes AI workloads, such as captions and transcription, within the customer’s own infrastructure, supporting AI innovation for regulated enterprises with strict data residency requirements.
Employees get the same familiar Zoom experience, while organizations get enhanced control over where their AI data is processed and stored. Capabilities include:
- Keep sensitive meeting data, such as captions and transcripts, within their own controlled infrastructure.
- Maintain the reliable Zoom Meetings experience that their teams depend on.
- Reduce operational complexity through Zoom-managed updates and orchestration.
- Support compliance, privacy, and data residency requirements across regulated industries.
Languages supported at launch include English, French, German, and Swedish, with captioning and transcription delivered directly on customer infrastructure. The service is expected to expand later this year to include additional languages, translation, meeting summaries, Q&A, and agentic search.
AI On-Prem is available today through the Zoom Node add-on for Zoom Workplace.
Building the system of action for modern work:
Zoom is a system of action that moves conversations to completed work. The idea discussed in a meeting becomes slides. A customer request automatically triggers a follow-up action. A decision becomes measurable progress.
Whether organizations need AI deployed within their own infrastructure, intelligent agents to automate business processes, or an AI teammate embedded directly into daily workflows, Zoom is building a unified platform that adapts to their needs.
From connected information to strategic work:
As teams fight content overload, technology should lift the administrative burden from organizations rather than add to it. Zoom’s ongoing mission is to simplify how teams operate by streamlining how information is gathered, shared, and understood across the enterprise. Today’s launches are designed to cut through the daily noise so that teams can focus on the high-value, human-led work that truly moves a business forward.
