Participants learn the symptoms and prevention of the most common cancer among women
Dubai, UAE: Al Bustan Centre and Residence, the popular hotel-apartment among tourists and businessmen in the heart of Dubai, joined the nation in the observance of breast cancer awareness month by organizing a program as part of their Responsible Awareness Program.
In association with Zulekha Hospital, the main speaker, Dr. Greeta Lokham, delivered the speech to hotel’s female employees addressing the importance of early detection of breast cancer, being familiar with the symptoms of illness and the treatments available for the patients.
Dr. Lokham also discussed the ways on how to properly care for the body and creating a healthy lifestyle that will play a vital role in the prevention of acquiring the disease. The entire presentation was a good eye opener and provided adequate and detailed knowledge about breast cancer which also allowed the participants to post their questions.

According to World Health Organization, breast cancer is the most common cancer among women hence, significant knowledge about the disease and education on its prevention has to be taken seriously.
The awareness program was successfully organized by Al Bustan Centre & Residence’s Director of Human Resources Department, Liza Ortiz.
