The one-day children’s event to focus on wildlife education and entertainment
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: Emirates Park Zoo and Resort will host the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment’s annual children’s event on 16 July, that will focus on wildlife awareness, education and entertainment.
On a first come-first serve basis, 30 registered children and their families will come together at the scenic private zoo for a day of awe-inspiring activities that bridges the gap between children and wildlife. Rubbing shoulders with sea lions, giraffes and elephants, a comprehensive zoo tour, a story telling session and an interactive multimedia presentation are only a few highlights of the event.
The group will also dance to the tunes of African drummers and interact with the fun zoo mascots. The zoo manager Dr. Waleed Sha’aban commented, “We try to incorporate some sort of educational theme into the events especially since our VIPs are children. We want to make sure that our kids are involved and engaged in learning during the summer. There’s so much knowledge to gain when it comes to animals and the wildlife, that we design our experience by combining the best of entertainment, fun, leisure and education.”
“I am very happy to collaborate with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment for this event and it gives me great delight to be recognized by such a relevant organization. We are excited and look forward to this thrilling day,” concluded Dr. Sha’aban.
