Street food, golf lessons and live music will add to the carnival atmosphere

The Dubai Moonlight Classic presented by EGA is just around the corner, putting world-class female golfers, mouth-watering street food and entertainment in the spotlight at Emirates Golf Club’s floodlit Faldo course from October 27-29. 

The only night tournament in pro golf will grab the attention of armchair sports fans on TV all around the world. For those lucky enough to be in Dubai, there’s plenty of off-course action too. Entry is free for fans on October 28 and 29 from 4-10pm, don’t miss out on one of the most eagerly anticipated events on the Dubai social calendar. 

Food Trucks

Truckers UAE events are a massive draw in the UAE, and the good news for foodies is that they are back in a big way, rolling out a range of popular home-grown concepts, food trucks and kiosks out for their first event of the year at the Dubai Moonlight Classic. With local favourites Shawarma Station, Natas, Andiamo, Sauce, American Grilled Burgers, Moshi and 800Pizza confirmed for the two days, there’s no shortage of options on the menu! From dim sum and maki rolls to burgers, pizza and desserts, foodies are in for a big treat. 

Peter Cowen Academy

The world’s best female golfers will make it look pretty easy, and anyone keen to give golf a try will be able to put their swing and putting skills to the test thanks to on-site golf taster sessions in partnerships with the Peter Cowen Academy. Test your skills with the acclaimed academy, on a special roadshow from its Dubai Creek base. Don’t miss out on the chance to get a head start in the game with one of the leading coaching establishments in the region.


The Dubai Moonlight Classic is not just about golf, there is a fun festival atmosphere to be savoured. Some of the best in local musical talent will be in the spotlight over the two nights, so don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes for a fun night on the grass at Emirates Golf Club!

Family fun

There’s plenty on the agenda offering the perfect opportunity for the entire family to come down and let off some steam in the evenings. A bouncy castle will keep the kids amused and work up an appetite for all the delicious food on offer from UAE Truckers, and with plenty of space outside the golf club, the little ones will be able to enjoy life in the great outdoors again while the grown-ups concentrate on some top-quality golf, entertainment and socialising!  


Aside from all the off-course entertainment on offer, there’s still an all-star sporting line up to consider. Spectators can follow a bona fide legend of the game in Dame Laura Davies – England’s most accomplished golfer, as well as the triumphant Solheim Cup captain Catriona Matthew, and the megastar Thai sisters, Ariya and Moriya Jutanugarn plus many more world-class female golfers. 

About the Dubai Moonlight Classic present by EGA:  

The Dubai Moonlight Classic presented by EGA will return to the spotlight on 27-29 October with some of the world’s best golfers returning to compete under the floodlights. With a slightly revamped format instore, the 15th edition will see a collaboration with Truckers UAE, providing spectators with a variety of culinary delights, showcasing the vibrant local F&B scene.

The event will be open to the public on the 28th and 29th October after 5pm.  Attendance is free and there is no pre-registration required.  

Previously the tournament has been won by some of the world’s leading female golfers including former 2020 Champion, Minjee Lee, four-time champion Shanshan Feng, two-time winner Annika Sorenstam and Alexis Thompson.

The 2020 LET season is the 42nd series of golf tournaments since the professional tour was founded in 1978 and marks the first edition of the Race to Costa Del Sol. The LET Access Series is the official development tour of the LET, formed to give players an opportunity to compete and progress onto the LET and achieve their dreams in professional golf.
