Lumen At Work Helps The UAE Go Plastic-free

UAE residents can now recycle plastic-bottles and redeem Lumen’s LED module as a reward on the  ZeLoop app.

Dubai: Staying true to its eco-conscious brand ethics, Lumen At Work continues to support the UAE’s strategic objective of landfill diversion of at least 75 percent by 2021. The lighting company has partnered with ZeLoop – an innovative green app that rewards consumers for depositing plastic-bottles- to list its bestselling sustainable product, the LED module.

The LED module is a retrofit product that was carefully selected as it fits all types of houses in the UAE, given that they have similar spotlights. The product is the perfect replacement for a halogen bulb, it’s 80% more energy-efficient in comparison to conventional halogen lamps, and is designed to last for 50,000 hours.

Having designed a sustainable lighting system for the Emirates RDF plant in Umm Al Quwain in 2020, Lumen At Work is known to help its clients meet world-class lighting standards while complying with local green building regulations. The French-founded light company provides long-lasting products that are energy-saving, recyclable and most importantly, sustainable.

“Given my love for nature and passion for hiking in Hatta, I once collected 250 plastic-bottles, since then until February 2021, I have now managed to collect 2,000 plastic bottles,  which has encouraged me to raise awareness about sustainable living in the UAE. I believe that plastic pollution is a serious matter, which is not only a regional issue, but rather a worldwide problem that can only be solved by taking small steps towards using sustainable products in everyday life”, says Francois Jarrossay, Founder of Lumen At Work.

Working with a diverse range of industries, Lumen At Work is dedicated to helping clients and consumers go plastic-free, and preserve the UAE’s environment.
