Dubai, UAE – The Crossing Dubai is delighted to announce the appointment of renowned  Michelin Star Chef Jitin Joshi as their new Director of Culinary. With an illustrious career spanning over 23 years and a remarkable culinary background, Chef Joshi brings unrivaled talent and versatility to his new role.

Hailing from India, Chef Joshi received his training at the renowned Oberoi School in Delhi, where he graduated in 1999. Since then, he has carved a distinguished path in the culinary world, honing his skills in top kitchens across eight countries, from prestigious Michelin-starred restaurants to high-end cruise liners and vineyard establishments. Beyond his expertise in the kitchen, Chef Joshi has also excelled in international events, guest lecturing, and coaching Team India.

London became a pivotal chapter in Chef Joshi’s journey, as he had the privilege of refining his craft under the guidance of renowned chefs Eric Chavot and Gordon Ramsay. His exceptional talent garnered remarkable achievements, including leading Benares in Mayfair to a coveted Michelin star in 2007 and receiving the prestigious Ethnic Chef of the Year award in 2009.

In Dubai, Chef Joshi astounded discerning palates at prestigious venues such as the Armani Hotel, Atmosphere in the Burj Khalifa, and the first Taj Hotel in the region. As his reputation grew, he made notable appearances on Sony TV and Dubai Eye Radio, while also serving culinary delights to renowned celebrities.

Recently, Chef Jitin Joshi has captivated audiences with his culinary prowess at the Dubai Expo and through a series of successful guest chef pop-ups across various cities. This exceptional track record positions him perfectly to lead The Crossing Dubai to new culinary heights. His appointment signifies a significant milestone for the establishment as it strives to deliver an unparalleled dining experience to its esteemed guests.
