Participation at the Gulfood Food Fair in Dubai on February 21-25, 2021

As part of the promotional campaign “The power of taste, vitamins and colors – discover the quality of apples from Europe”, its representatives took part in the Gulfood food fair in Dubai. This year’s fair is one of the first live events since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. On February 21-25, this year, so for 5 days, representatives of the food sector took part in the largest food fair in the region and despite the pandemic, the fair can be considered a success.

Representatives of our promotional campaign appeared at the event as exhibitors, having a phenomenal stand in the area of ​​50 m2, where apart from apples, a film recorded in Polish orchards was presented, information leaflets were distributed, and many business meetings were held on our premises. Importantly, we managed to obtain space in the most visited and prestigious location, Hall 5, which is located right at the entrance to the Dubai World Trade Center on the main corridor.

During the fair, our entrepreneurs took part in a number of meetings with key distributors and representatives of commercial networks from the UAE, both in the exhibition center itself and in a specially organized trip to the Al Aweeer Fruit & Vegetable Market in Dubai, where all counting on this market is the distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables.

Many distinguished guests appeared at our stand, including the Commissioner General of the Polish Section of Expo 2020 Dubai, Adrian Malinowski, Charge d’Affair of the Polish Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Jakub Sławek, and Katarzyna Rzezniczek, Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Abu Dhabi and a representative of the Ministry of Agriculture.

During the fair, we had the pleasure to host many representatives of the media and the blogosphere, and one of the most representative newspapers, Khaleej Times, interviewed a representative of the “Fruit Union” Association and published the article the next day after the interview.

The promotional campaign “The power of taste, vitamins and colors – get to know the quality of apples from Europe” aims to promote European apples, increase their competitiveness and consumption on the United Arab Emirates market and re-export markets from the UAE.
